3/8" x 125' Viking Orange Winchline, 17,600 lb. Minimum Breaking Strength (MBS).

The Viking Winchline is made from Samson's 12-Strand AmSteel Blue a Twelve-Strand single Braid that is the world's strongest fiber! All winchlines come with a 10-foot Nylon Rock Guard and Bolted Drum Attachment for Warn-style winches. Superwinch and Warn 8274 require slight modification of attachment end (refer to winchline instructions). Winchline lengths are nominal, i.e. length of spline is subtracted from length.  Typical 3/8" splice takes 18"-20" from total length.  100' line is actually 98.5' to 99' stretched.  Winchline extensions are actual length (50'= 50').5/16" winchlines are available in Blue only and 3/8" is available in three different colors: Blue, Black, & Orange.

The Safety Thimble is precision CNC machined from billet aluminum. It is designed to be connected by means of a shackle rather than using hooks. This allows for the lightest and strongest winchline package. The Safety Thimble is designed to prevent the winch from accidentally sucking the thimble through the fairlead. This can severly damage hands and fairleads. The Safety Thimble can be snugged tightly against the fairlead, or to the side to a recovery point.

Note: The optionial Heavy Duty Rock Guard is thick and can interfere with fairlead-winch combos in a tight space.
