For really tall lift kits and extreme off-road capable vehicles, the Rugged Ridge mega Short SYE kit for the NP231 transfer case is the choice for you!

Designed to give you a 7" increase in rear driveshaft length (3" more than our regular SYE kit), this kit will support 6" and taller suspension lift systems.  No dropped transfer case means better clearance.  Longer driveshfat means no vibrations or binding, and increased travel for tall lifts.

Made of 356-T6 aluminum, and nodular reinforced for superior strength, the Mega Short SYE housing is the strongest available anywhere. In addition, the toner ring has 8 holes machined in it to allow maximum oiling to the main bearing. To topo that off, a large 209-series roller bearing supports the main output shaft for long life and reliability.  You can count on this kit!

Any vehicle manufactured prior to 1992 will need to be retro fitted with an electronic speedometer (will not work with cable driven speedometers).
